Step 2 经典表达
1)It is the common practice to……
It is the common practice to+arrive 15 minutes before the interview begins.
通常的做法是在面试开始之前15分钟到达。
Tips:It is the common practice to do sth.的意思是“做某事是通常的做法”。
2)I advise you to……
I advise you to+ask one or two questions related to the position you want to take.
我建议你问一两个与你想竞聘的岗位相关的问题。
Tips:advise sb. to do sth.意指“建议某人做某事”。
3)Never try to……
Never try to+hiccup, sneeze or yawn in the course of the interview.
千万不要在面试的过程中打嗝、打喷嚏或者打呵欠。
Tips:这是祈使句的否定形式,never 位于句首表示“禁止、反对”的意思,其后直接跟动词原形。try to do sth.的意思是“尽力做某事”。
4)It is good manners to……
It is good manners to+say“Please”,“Excuse me”,and“Thank you”whenever necessary.
在必要的时候说“请”“对不起”“谢谢”是有礼貌的表现。
Tips:It is good manners 其后通常接不定式,意思是“做某事有礼貌”。
5)It couldn't be better to……
It couldn't be better to+dress formally and professionally.穿着正式、职业是再好不过的。
Tips:It couldn't be better 其后接不定式,用来表示建议,意思是“做某事是再好不过的事情”。
6)You should at least have the courtesy to……
You should at least have the courtesy to+make your answer relevant to the question.
你至少应该懂得让你的回答与答案相关。
Tips:have the courtesy to do sth.的意思是“知道何时做某事(以示礼貌)”。
7)Don't hesitate to……
Don't hesitate to+tell your strengths when it is possible.在必要的时候要果断地说出自己的优点。
Tips:Don't hesitate to do sth.是一个很有用的句型,意思是“毫不犹豫做某事”。
8)It's rude of you to……
It's rude of you to+cast a contemptuous glance at the interviewer.
你轻蔑地扫视面试官是粗鲁的表现。
Tips:It's+adj.+of sb. to do sth.句型中的 of sb.to do sth.是不定式的复合结构。当形容词是 kind, good, considerate, polite, rude, cruel等表示主语的“品质、品格”的词语时,常用 of sb.to do sth.形式;当形容词是 important, useful, right, wrong, necessary, crucial 等表示不定式的“特征、特点”的词语时,常用 for sb.to do sth.形式。试比较:It’s good of you to help me.(=You are good to help me.)你帮助我真是太好了;It’s good for you to do more exercise.(=To do more exercise is good.)多锻炼对你有好处。

You are polite to+make the eye contact with the interviewer during the interview.
面试的时候与面试官进行眼神交流是有礼貌的表现。
Tips:(sb.)be polite to do sth.意思是“(某人)做某事有礼貌”。
10)You are not allowed to……
You are not allowed to+ask about the secret of the company.
你不可以询问公司的机密。
Tips:be(not)allowed to do sth.是表示建议、提醒等的常用句式,意思是“可以(不可以)做某事”。

A:Well, it involves a lot. I'll try to tell you some do's and don'ts for answering the questions.First, don't be nervous or timid.Try to express yourself clearly and slowly so that the interviewers can have a good impression on you.
B:That's what I should pay more attention to.
A:Second, try to be honest and frank. You should tell the truth whatever you're asked about.Do not exaggerate anything you've ever had or say anything you don't know or make up anything you haven't had.

A:Last but not least, try to be concise and relevant. Your responses should live up to the interviewers'expectations just in a few remarks.lt's certain that there are many candidates present and everyone is limited to a certain time.
